Kari leads state level policy efforts at MCCD on behalf of members and sometimes in partnership with statewide coalitions. She currently serves as one of the policy co-chairs of the Homes for All coalition. Prior to coming to MCCD, Kari was in Washington, DC working at the U.S. Treasury Department and for the United States Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee. Kari enjoys building relationships, problem solving, and is deeply passionate about finding solutions to support the important work of community developers.
