Tuesday, December 15, 1-2pm, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity
Have you thought about how your organization can proactively engage community members to avoid potentially costly NIMBY-delays on your projects? What does positive, proactive engagement look like?
Come learn about two nonprofits’ experiences with community engagement: Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity will share their lessons learned from community resistance to past projects and Avenues for Homeless Youth will share their proactive engagement approach that enabled their recent Brooklyn Park project to go from concept to completion in less than 24 months! This exchange will feature guest discussion leaders from:
- Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity
- Avenues for Homeless Youth
Reservations are required. RSVP to Rose at firstname.lastname@example.org and bring your lunch!
